Business Central for US companies

Migrations from Dynamics NAV and GP · AL development · Integrations · Project rescue · Licences supplied · Microsoft certified MB-800 and MB-820

94% of mid-market companies use AI. 2% have operationalized it. Not because of the models — 86% of CFOs say legacy systems and technical debt are what limit their AI readiness. We fix the layer underneath: the system of record, the master data, the integrations and the reporting. Then we switch on the AI your ERP already includes, one measured process at a time. We migrate companies off Dynamics NAV and GP, build AL extensions, rebuild integrations for the cloud and rescue stalled projects — with each part invoiced only after you accept it, and licences supplied through our US partner network.

Planner: Migration planner. You choose the current system (Navision, Dynamics GP, Sage or another ERP, or spreadsheets), companies, years of history and custom changes, and it shows a six-phase plan with the weeks for each phase, what data moves and the risk without a phased plan. In the example, Navision 2009 with 2 companies, 3 years of history and quite a few customisations is about 21 weeks; from spreadsheets with few changes, about 9. Open the demo

What we do

NAV & GP migrations

Object inventory, C/AL or Dexterity triage, data validated against your live system, phased go-live with the old system read-only as a fallback.

AL development

Clean extensions that survive the two annual updates. Code in your repository, documentation with every delivery. How we build APIs.

2026 capabilities

Quality Management, subcontracting, Peppol e-documents, Shopify B2B and the Payables Agent — configured over your real processes.

Integrations

Shopify, EDI, WMS, banks, CRM, Avalara/Vertex — over REST APIs and OData. We rebuild NAV-era SQL integrations for the cloud.

Reporting & Power BI

The four included Power BI apps, financial reports, consolidated multi-entity views, and the 13-week cash forecast.

AI agents

Payables, sales orders and expenses, switched on over one measured process with human approval in the loop. What AP automation looks like.

Project rescue

Independent audit when an implementation stalls: what exists, what is broken, what finishing costs.

Licensing (USD)

PlanWho it's forPrice per user / month
EssentialsFinance, sales, purchasing, inventory, warehouse, projects$80
PremiumAdds manufacturing and service management — only if you need them$110
Team MembersApprovals, dashboards, read-only, time entry$8

US list prices; confirm current pricing at quote time. Sales tax: we configure and integrate Avalara (or Vertex) — nexus, exemption certificates, address validation, filing feeds — and build extensions for anything the standard connector doesn't cover. Tax advice stays with your CPA.

What a project costs

ProfileTypical project cost (USD)
Small: 5-15 users, standard processes$25,000-50,000
Mid-market: 15-50 users, warehouse or integrations, possibly multi-entity$50,000-150,000
Complex: heavy legacy code, several ISVs, multi-entity manufacturing$150,000+

Project cost is one-off; licences are recurring. Most companies need far fewer full users than headcount — the Essentials vs Premium decision is usually worth more than any negotiated discount.

How we work

  1. Free assessment in five working days: your system, customizations, integrations and an indicative budget.
  2. Scope split into parts, each with written acceptance criteria.
  3. Each part invoiced only after you accept it. No upfront payment, no retainers you can't cancel.
  4. Everything is yours: code in your repository, documentation with every delivery, tenant in your name.

Team members in several US states cover your business hours; the European team runs six hours ahead of Eastern Time, so the development cycle delivers overnight what your team reviews in the morning. For a development backlog, that is a full extra cycle every day.

Proof, not adjectives

In-store sales (POS)

Sales tax is added at checkout by state and locality; the POS calculates it and Business Central receives sales, tax and stock by store. The end-of-day close balances itself. How an ERP with POS works · try the POS demo with this country's tax.

Questions we get asked first

Can you supply the licences, or do we need another vendor?

We supply them through our US partner network, including Bridge to Cloud 3 enrolment (30% off Business Central Online for a fixed three-year term, enrolment open until 31 December 2027). One vendor for licence and work.

Do you work alongside our existing US partner?

Often, yes — white-label or as a named subcontractor. Your partner keeps the relationship; we deliver the build.

What about US payroll?

Business Central has no US payroll. You integrate a payroll provider and post summary journals. We set that up; the payroll system itself is theirs.

How do we start without risk?

Send us one thing that is stuck: a report nobody built, an integration nobody wants to touch, a migration assessment. Small first part, paid after acceptance.

Interactive example: The same company seen with an old ERP and a modern one. A distributor's dashboard. With the old ERP: data 34 days old, margin unavailable and invisible losses. With the modern one: real gross margin of 30.2%, profit of 188,000 and 219,000 of avoidable losses a year (off-policy discounts, write-offs, unbilled freight and bad debts), plus margin by product, sales rep and customer.
